Matthew Perry, best known for playing Chandler in Friends, has been found dead at his home in Los Angeles.
He was 54-years-old.
Reports from L.A. suggest he drowned.
Warner Brothers, which made Friends, has paid tribute on social media saying :"the impact of his comedic genius was felt around the world."
The statement added: "This is a heartbreaking day, and we send our love to his family, his loved ones, and all of his devoted fans."
Perry became an international star on Friends, alongside his co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer.
His critically lauded portrayal of Chandler Bing earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination in 2002.
In recent years, he spoke about his struggles with addiction and anxiety.
