A Tramore hotelier says their business is still in 'squalor', as public works continue on Strand Street.
On Sunday, the Main Street Plaza was officially opened to the public after works were completed there.
However works on Strand Street are still not finished, despite businesses being told they'd be completed by February.
Speaking to WLR, Noreen O'Shea, owner of O'Shea's Hotel called the delays to the project a disgrace and that she feels "so insulted" that the opening went ahead without Strand Street being completed.
"Our guests constantly complain when they come around the corner and see the state of the hotel. I don't blame them, they can't park for loading and unloading. We'd a great lunch time trade for older residents in Tramore; now they can't park here so they don't come down here anymore. The guests can't open their bedroom windows because of the dust and the noise and I'm really at my wit's end," she said.
She added that she's sick of the delays, and they've had a lot of complaints from guests. Noreen pointed out that due to the ongoing works, there's also no wheelchair accessibility on the street outside O'Shea's.
"It's a disgrace what's going on in Tramore," she said.
