TQS Integration the overall winners at Waterford Business Awards

TQS Integration, based in Lismore, County Waterford, has been named overall Business of the Year at the 2021 Waterford Business Awards.

The company received the great news at a virtual ceremony this lunch time, presented by WLR's Damien Tiernan and Mary O'Neill at The Broadcast Centre.

About TQS Integration

TQS Integration is a global consulting, engineering and technology company. It also picked up the Business of the Year (150+ employees) award during the live streamed event.

Headquartered in Lismore, TQS started as a family business in 1995, then a husband and wife team at a kitchen table.

In 2001, the company was formed, after the owners identified a niche opportunity integrating processing systems in manufacturing plants, into a single platform.

Enterpreneur of the Year award for Louise Grubb

The Entrepreneur of the Year Award, sponsored by Faithlegg, was presented to Louise Grubb, founder and CEO of Q1 Scientific and Trivium Vet.

Congratulating Louise, Liam Moran, Faithlegg, said: “Louise is serial life science entrepreneur and inventor, with a track record in founding successful businesses and delivering global product launches. From concept through to commercialisation Louise has a track record in delivering innovative, life science products and services, holding several publications and patents. She is also passionate about mentoring up-and-coming talent and promoting Waterford to an international audience.”

About the Waterford Business Awards

The annual event is organised by  Waterford Chamber in association with Dungarvan & West Waterford ChamberWaterford Council and media partners WLR.

Kicking off the ceremony, a recorded address was played by An Taoiseach Micheál Martin, while Mayor of Waterford City and County Council, Cllr Joe Kelly congratulated all those shortlisted on their achievements. There were also speeches by the President of Waterford Chamber, John McSweeney, and by David Walsh, President of Dungarvan and West Waterford Chamber.
