Temperatures will remain above average for the rest of the week, as Ireland enjoys a bright patch of weather.
Daytime temperatures will remain high for March, with up to 17 degrees likely to be reached.
The country is to stay mainly dry, contributing to the summer mood of the nation.
Head of Forecasting with Met Eireann Evelyn Cusack says multiple factors have us feeling sunny.
"Temperatures will reach highs of about 17 or 18 degrees which is above average at this time of year.
High pressure is set to stick around through the rest of the week so mainly dry with sunny spells🌤️and light winds.
Highs getting up to 17 or 18°C 📈. Chilly at night though with mist and fog developing🌫️ pic.twitter.com/Eahz5Pg3Zz— Met Éireann (@MetEireann) March 23, 2022
"It feels quite warm because the sun is getting some strength and we're into spring and the wind is very light.
"The sun is heating up your face literally and there is no wind chill at the moment so there's nothing to cool you down," Cusack said.
