Heavy winds are set to hit the country, as Spanish Storm Herminia approaches Ireland.
The worst of the storm will stay offshore, and it won't be anywhere near as strong as Storm Éowyn according to Alan O'Reilly from Carlow Weather, adding "this is nothing out of the ordinary".
Met Éireann has issued rain and wind warnings ahead of the arrival of the storm.
A status yellow rain warning will be in place for Waterford from 05:00 am Sunday morning until 05:00 pm Sunday evening.
Meanwhile, a status yellow wind warning will take effect in Waterford from 06:00 am on Sunday until 06:00 pm Sunday evening.
However, the warning will break for a period of five hours before being reinstated at 11:00 pm on Sunday and evening and lasting until 06:00 am Monday morning.
