Covid-19 is still causing added pressure at University Hospital Waterford.
As of last night, UHW had the highest number of patients with the virus of any hospital in the country, at 34.
A statement to WLR says that their visitor ban - imposed more than three weeks ago because of a Covid outbreak - is still in place now.
They say some exceptions are being made for compassionate reasons but these visits must be approved in advance.
