The event has grown in numbers over the last three years in Dungarvan. It has shown an increase from 200 participating in the first year to over 700 people in its third year. The event in Waterford city has seen the numbers increase year on year over the last 16 years.

Mayor of Waterford City and County Jason Murphy emphasised how important the Solas Cancer Support Centre is to the people of Waterford City and County and beyond. Paddy McMahon (Solas Board Member) was very appreciative of the help and support the people of Waterford give each year to Solas.
