Rescue 117 called to kayakers off Copper Coast

A rescue operation is underway on the Copper Coast in Waterford this afternoon.

The Bonmahon Lifeboat, Rescue 117 helicopter, Helvick RNLI and Bonmahon Coast Guard are on the scene.

Three kayakers are currently on the rocks east of Kilmurrin cove.

It's understood no serious injuries have been sustained and Bonmahon Lifeboat have said the situation is ongoing.
