Emergency services are attending the scene of a crash on the n25 this afternoon.
The head-on collision happened in the vicinity of Frank Murphy Hurleys at Kilmeaden shortly after 4 pm.
The road is closed in both directions.
WLR News understands that Rescue 117 has been tasked to transport a patient to hospital.
