A public meeting to inform people about government housing schemes which are available to them will take place in West Waterford this evening.
The Fine Gael branch in Tallow are hosting the meeting in the Enterprise Centre in the village at 8pm.
Waterford Senator John Cummins will be in attendance to talk people through their various options.
He told WLR News that people are often unsure about which scheme would suit them best.
"Everyone is more than welcome to attend," he said.
Senator Cummins will be going through a variety of schemes and grants available to people including the Croí Conaithe Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant, the First Home Shared Equity Scheme, the Help to Buy Scheme, the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme, and the Home Loan Scheme.
