All but one power outage in Waterford has now been restored.

Up to 80,000 homes and businesses across the country lost their power due to the strong winds of Storm Eunice yesterday, but the majority are now back up and running.

ESB crews from all over the country have been deployed to the worst affected areas in South Kerry, West Cork and along the South East.

According to the utility's website, just one outage remains in Waterford, and that's in the vicinity of Knockanore. However, that one only seems to have occurred shortly after 10 o'clock this morning.

It's due to be restored by 9.30 tonight (Saturday)

Brian Tapley from ESB Networks says if you're out an about today and you notice fallen wires or trees, you need to report them:

"There might be a lot of people venturing out today that might not have done so yesterday.

"There's a likelihood you could come across fallen trees, timber, even damaged networks, so I think our safety message has to be as strong as it was yesterday.
