A major power cut has been reported in the Dungarvan area this morning.
The fault is currently affecting 1,600 customers in West Waterford.
It is hoped that power will be restored in all areas by 11am.
Power has returned in some affected areas, and schools affected by the issue have advised that they will remain open as planned.
