A post mortem has been completed on the body of a man that was discovered one mile west of Bunmahon, County Waterford yesterday (Sunday) morning.
The examination took place earlier at the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford, and Gardaí said this evening (Monday) that investigations are ongoing.
The discovery of the body was made at Tra Na Strella Beach near Bunmahon on Sunday morning, where the man's remains were washed ashore.
Gardaí have also said the results of the post mortem will not be made available, for 'operational reasons'.
