Local food producers and the success of Waterford's Greenway are celebrated in an RTÉ programme, which airs this evening.

A whole host of local food producers will feature in the final episode of 'Neven's Greenway Food Trails' in which celebrity chef Neven Maguire explores the delights of the Waterford Greenway.

Neven meets Johnny Flahavan of Flahavans Oat Mills. The final programme of Nevens Greenway Food Trails airs on RTÉ tonight.

The Cavan chef begins his journey in Dungarvan where he calls to Dún Artisan Bakery and meets co-founder Fergal Walsh. He also stops off at Churriosity where owner John Curry serves Spanish-style churros.

In Kilmacthomas, Neven calls to Coach House Coffee where he speaks with co-owner Stephen Lynch to learn about the transformation of part of the former Famine Workhouse into a thriving 100-seater restaurant.

The success of the village's famous family-run business, Flahavans, is discussed with the company's Operations Manager Johnny Flahavan.

The family enterprise is also a theme at nearby Ballyhussa Dairy Farm where the Kiersey brothers share the story behind their Freezin' Friesian ice cream.

Neven's final stop is the renowned Granville Hotel in Waterford City where he meets chef Christopher Fitzmaurice who cooks up a hearty meal.

During his Greenway adventure, Neven also chats to local historian, and passionate Greenway advocate, Garvan Cummins who details the history of the former rail line.

The programme airs on RTÉ One tonight at 8.30 pm.
