One of the link roads to Waterford Airport had to be closed for a time yesterday (Saturday, August 6th), as a crane was required to lift an overturned truck.
A SuperValu truck had fallen into a ditch and got stuck.
Emergency services attended and the R685 Junction to the airport was closed, with drivers urged to avoid the area.
In a post on their social media, Waterford City Fire Service stated that crews from the City, from Dunmore East, and from Tramore attended.

They said that thankfully, there were no injuries to report.
