A person has been taken to hospital after their car overturned on the M9.
It's understood to have happend at around 3 o'clock when the car skidded in the heavy rain between junctions 11 and 10 Northbound near Mullinavat.
Gardaí and Emergency services attended the scene, and the road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
The driver has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
It comes as motorists in Waterford are being asked to avoid a number of roads across the county if possible.
A Status Orange warning for rain has been issued by Met Éireann this afternoon, and is set to continue until 9pm tonight.
