Update (07:45am): The road has now reopened.
One person has been brought to hospital following a crash in Waterford City this morning.
It happened shortly before half past 6 on Parnell Street.
WLR News understands two vehicles were involved.

Gardaí say that street is currently closed to traffic while emergency services work to clear it.
The person's injuries are not thought to be serious.
