Gardaí in Dungarvan are investigating a rather unusual incident after an entire boat was stolen from Davitt's Quay.
The 15-foot long, white vessel with red trimmings, named Cassie Anne, had been taken sometime between Friday and Saturday.
A post on social media by the owner was shared hundreds of times and thankfully, the boat was eventually recovered.
However, speaking on WLR's Waterford Garda Watch, Sergeant Deirdre O'Neill says they're anxious to hear from anyone who might have seen it being moved:

"Somebody probably saw this and thought it was a genuine removal.
"So, we would ask anyone who may have seen this boat being removed to contact Dungarvan Garda Station on 058 48600."
