31 new homes are in the pipeline for Kilmeaden.
Work has already started on developing a tract of land that was recently sold in the townland of Adamstown.
The three acres of land, which was being sold by Sherry Fitzgerald John Rohan, came with full planning permission for 23 houses and six apartments.
It was sold to Carray Construction for just under €900,000, having been on the market for approximately three months.
They are a Waterford-based company that specialises in the design and building of residential estates and commercial developments.
According to the listing, the houses will consist of three-bed semi-detached, two-bed mid-terrace homes, and the apartments will all be two-beds.
The deal was closed on Friday and WLR News understands work has already started on developing that land.
It's expected that the homes should be finished by the end of this year or by early next year.
