Property website, My Home.ie, in conjunction with Davy, says there's been a 6.6% increase in house prices in Waterford.

That's just slightly higher than the increase recorded on Daft.ie during the same period.

The House Price Report released by Daft last week showed that the average price of a three-bed semi in Co Waterford was €203,000.

That marked an increase of exactly 6% on March 2022.

This morning, My Home.ie have published their property report for Quarter 1 of this year, which shows the average price of a three-bed semi here is now €210,000.

And that amounts to a 6.6% increase on last year.

Nationally, the average asking price is up by 3.2% year-on-year, but - like Daft - they have also reported a decrease in prices for just the first three months.

They are down an average of 0.3%, which is the third year running that asking prices have fallen on MyHome.ie during the first quarter.

When it comes to housing stock, the website's report suggests 13,600 properties were listed with them between January and March this year.

That's still well below the pre-pandemic figure of 20,000 properties.
