Gardaí in Waterford yesterday arrested a driver for driving under the influence with no licence at a checkpoint.
He was detained and brought to a Garda Station in the County. Gardaí shared details of the incident on their national twitter page yesterday.
When released three hours later, the driver in question was later spotted in the same vehicle after nearly colliding with a Taxi.
WLR has reached out for comment to Gardaí on the matter, with a response saying no further information is available at this time.
