Speaking about the documentary, presenter Debbie Ridgard said:

“Sparked by a conversation in the family kitchen, this documentary has been in the making for a few years now. I read my mother’s research on the development of Tramore and wanted to bring it to a new audience.”

She added: “It has been such a special experience to create this documentary with my mother - especially as it’s focused on the town I grew up in and recently moved away from."

Historian Marie-Clare Ridgard said: “I really enjoyed being part of this documentary. The town of Tramore has been part of my own history since the 1970s and it has been extremely interesting doing a deep dive into what has influenced the town to become the place we see today."
