Households paid a median price of €350,000 for a dwelling on the residential property market in the 12 months to November 2024 according to figures released by the Central Statistics Office (CSO).
The Dublin region had the highest median price (€470,000) in the year to November.
The highest median prices outside of Dublin were in Wicklow (€455,000) and Kildare (€399,999), while the lowest median price was €180,000 in both Leitrim and Longford.
The median price in Waterford was €295,000.
Neighbouring counties Tipperary and Cork totaled €225,000 and €350,000 respectively.
In the year to November, the Eircode area with the highest median price for household dwelling purchases in Waterford was the metropolitan's X91 at €295,000.
Carrick-on-Suir came in at €210,000, Kilmacthomas €275,000 and Dungarvan €285,000.
