Mayo footballer Tom Parsons has announced his retirement from inter-county action.
Mayo GAA confirmed the news on their website, including statements from Parsons and Mayo GAA chairman, Liam Moffatt.
In his statement, Parsons said: "It has been a privilege to play for Mayo and our amazing Gaelic games.
"It has been a journey that has filled my life with joy, passion, some heartache, resilience and meaning. An experience that I'll cherish forever."

Parsons made his debut for his county back in 2008 against Derry in the National League, going on to make 84 senior appearances for Mayo, 36 of which were in the Championship.
In May 2018, Parsons suffered a horrific leg injury against Galway in the Connacht Championship, including a dislocated knee and a torn calf and hamstring, threatening to bring a premature end to his playing career.
However, Parsons returned to the Mayo match day squad in August the following year, making the cut for their game against Donegal, before finally seeing himself back onto the field of play during their next outing against Dublin.
The Mayo chairman, thanked Parsons for his "outstanding commitment and service to Mayo GAA", adding: "It was an outstanding testimony to Tom that despite significant injury problems and career related travels his commitment never diminished.
"His absolute defiance and dogged determination to return to play inspired so many and showed to all the character of the man."
