A man sustained serious injuries after falling from a cliff west of Bonmahon Bay yesterday.
Bonmahon Coastguard, Rescue 117, Tramore Coast Guard Units, and the National Ambulance Service were all tasked to the scene.
According to Rescue 117, the man had been climbing the cliff face when the accident happened.
Due to the extent of the injuries sustained, he was removed via helicopter to hospital.
