A man has been charged with the murder of a woman in Waterford over the weekend.
Gillian Curran (47) was found unresponsive at a house on O'Brien Street in the city on Saturday morning, and pronounced dead at the scene.
At a special sitting of Gorey District Court last night, 34-year-old Marcus O'Neill of O'Brien Street, Waterford was charged with her murder.
He was remanded in custody to appear before Waterford District Court via video link tomorrow.
