Enerpower, a Waterford-based renewable energy company says it plans to hire 100 staff in the coming three years.
Founded in 2008, Enerpower provides sustainable energy solutions including biomass, solar and wind generation, and heat pumps. Its clients include Flahavans, Virgin Media, Bulmers, Kepak and a number of Lidl and Tesco stores.
MD Owen Power said “As more and more organisations start taking climate change and energy security more seriously we are seeing both our market and our business grow. So, that is why we are looking to expand our workforce – the demand is there.”
Growing demand for green energy solutions
Enerpower was the winner in the "Green Excellence" category at last year's Waterford Business Awards.
Speaking to WLR at that time, Owen Power said "every single business, every organisation, every home in Ireland, can benefit from renewable energy"
Enerpower believes companies can reduce energy costs by up to 50%. This is achieved through reducing energy usage on-site and/or through implementing renewable energy technologies.
