Speaking to Déise Today, she said the series explores the individual reasons people have for their love of the Irish language.

"This series is about their lives, where their love of Irish comes from. Really, we tell their lives, where they grew up, who their parents were."

Referencing Waterford man, Pat McEvoy, Catherine says when she meets him on the street, they fall into speaking Irish together.
