Listen: Waterford's Dan Mulhall says he's settling in well in his new role as US ambassador

Mr. Mulhall, who's originally from Waterford City, was appointed to the prestigious role earlier this year.

He has previously served as ambassador to Malaysia and Germany and most recently to the UK, he was awarded the freedom of the City of London in July.

Dan Mulhall has been in the States for the past 3 weeks and told Mary O'Neill on 'The Saturday Show' that he's been busy.
