The jury in the trial of a young man accused of murdering a local fisherman in Co Waterford will resume their deliberations today.
Dean Kerrie, who now lives in Portarlington, Co Laois, denies murdering Jack Power in his family home in Dunmore East in July 2018, when he was 17 years old.
The now 20-year-old claims he was acting in self-defence, after Mr Power allegedly forced his way into their house.
The jurors retired to consider the evidence just before lunchtime yesterday before being sent home for the day just after 4 o'clock.
