Swimmers are being advised not to take to the sea today along the Waterford Coast as conditions are rough.
A lifeguard in Tramore says there's a large swell in Tramore along with strong winds.
Joe Breen is also a volunteer with Irish Water Safety Waterford and has this warning, "We've a really big surf in Tramore at the moment, all along the Waterford Coast and really strong winds as well."
"We're asking people to not enter the water, avoid cliffs or piers and if you see someone in danger to dial 999 or 112 and ask for the coastguard," he added.
