Planning permission has been sought for 14 new homes within the grounds of a historic Waterford house.

A planning application has been submitted to Waterford City and County Council for the development of 14 new homes at Glebe House, Landsend in the Abbeyside area.

The proposed development will include the renovation of an existing 2 storey lodge, the construction of 14 new houses consisting of 4 single-storey houses and 10 2-storey houses.

Planning permission is also sought for the removal of a section of Walled Garden, the relocation of the existing house entrance for access to the proposed development and the existing house along with a proposed pedestrian crossing to the public footpath as well as all associated site works.

This application requires works to be carried out within the Curtilage of a Protected Structure.

A Natura Impact Statement will be submitted with the planning application.
