Gardaí in Waterford are set to update the family of Imelda Keenan on the investigation into her disappearance 30 years ago.
A renewed appeal for information on the disappearance of the 22-year-old was made in January this year, and there have been ongoing calls for the investigation to be updated to a murder inquiry.
Speaking to WLR News, Imelda's niece Gina said family members have been invited to a meeting with Gardaí at Waterford Garda Station on October 3rd.
Gina says she's hopeful that there will be a significant development in the investigation and you can listen to her interview with WLR here
A special news programme was broadcast on WLR on January 3rd this year to coincide with the 30th anniversary of Imelda's disappearance.
