Gardaí pulled over a 13-year-old boy driving a car in Waterford yesterday afternoon. The two passengers in the car were his parents.
Gardaí say they passed the car and remarked how "strikingly" young the driver looked.
"Just out for a spin" Gardaí were told when they decided to pull the car over.
The owner of the vehicle will be brought before the courts, while a Garda Juvenile Liaison Officer has been appointed to the boy.
