Gardaí have issued their appeal for information in relation to a missing Waterford man.
John Gear, who was 50 years old on January 15th, 2014, has been missing since then from the Knockboy area.
He was last seen that morning in the Knockboy area, and was reported missing later that evening.
John was wearing a Waterford County Council jacket and blue denim jeans.
Today marks the 11 year anniversary of the disappearance of John Gear, whose disappearance saw a large scale search by the Coast Guard units from Tramore and Dunmore East, the lifeboat from Tramore community rescue, and a Coast Guard helicopter.
