The sun shone in Kilmacthomas on Thursday as the winners of WLR’s “Best of Waterford Awards 2022” were unveiled.
Over the past six weeks, listeners across the city and county voted in their thousands on WLRFM.com, for their favourite local businesses, services and trades people across 13 categories.
The shortlist was unveiled last week, and on June 9th, the overall category winners were announced at a ceremony in Coach House Coffee hosted by WLR’s Vinny Bradley and Mary O’Neill.
The Best of Waterford Awards 2022 was a partnership between WLR and LocalHeroes.ie, finding trusted plumbers, electricians, gas boiler installers and more across Waterford in minutes, all with a 12-month guarantee backed by Bord Gáis Energy.
Speaking after the event, Claire Power, WLR’s Head of Digital and Creative Solutions, said:
