Four Waterford restaurants have made it into the Sunday Business Post's Great Irish Restaurant Guide for 2019.
They are Grow HQ in Waterford city and Waterford Castle, both new entrants to the list, plus The Tannery in Dungarvan and The House restaurant at the Cliff House Hotel in Ardmore.
The guide lists the top 101 eateries across the island, and is compiled by four food and drink critics.
The critics described Grow HQ's menu as 'wonderfully robust' and said the 'always tasty weekend bistro menu illustrates the kitchen's range'.
Waterford Castle's installation of Tom Spruce as head chef was described as 'a very canny move'. The former chef at Campagne in Kilkenny 'delivers classical dishes with contemporary flair'.
Dungarvan's Tannery is 'in its Rolls Royce years...Paul Flynn is as talented as they come with technical chops and immaculate palate', according to the Guide.
While, the Cliff House's Martijn Kajuiter crafts 'exquisitely pretty dishes...both complex and technically adroit'.
