Fianna Fáil says a proposed cut to funding for a breastfeeding campaign is short sighted

Waterford Fianna Fail TD Mary Butler has critiszied reports that funding for a breast-feeding campaign in our hospitals is under threat.

Ireland has some of the lowest rates for breast feeding mothers in the world.

Mary Butler, says just 35 percent of our maternity hospitals are recognised as being baby-friendly, and cutting supports for young mothers isn't going to help.
