An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after crashing her car near Dunmore East this morning.
The single-vehicle incident happened just beyond Gaultier Cross, heading for Dunmore, when the woman's vehicle veered from the road and went into a ditch.
The 85-year-old sustained facial injuries, which are not believed to be serious.
She has since been taken to University Hospital Waterford and Gardaí say the road is now clear.
