Laois Senior Hurling manager Eddie Brennan has announced his decision to step down as manager.
The All-Ireland medallist with Kilkenny released a statement confirming the news, with members of Brennan's management team, Tommy Fitzgerald and Niall Corcoran also taking the decision to depart the county set-up.
The statement signed by the three men, shared by Laois GAA, read: "We would like to thank all persons concerned that we worked with over the last two years and in particular the player who gave us great effort and dedication."

Laois GAA expressed their disappointment at the management's decision not to remain with the county for 2021, but thanked them for their "dedication and excellent work for the past two years".
The Laois hurlers 2020 championship ended with a narrow defeat to Clare in the first round of the qualifiers, following which Brennan voiced his displeasure at the lack of resources afforded to his county players.
Compounding the situation, a discussion between Brennan and Joe.ie's GAA Hour podcast host, Colm Parkinson was aired in error.
The chat was intended to be off the record and contained critical remarks from Brennan regarding Laois County Board.
