11 million euro has been allocated to Waterford for walking and cycling infrastructure.
It comes as the National Transport Authority has announced it's latest round of funding.
Segregated cycle lanes, widened footpaths, new walking and cycling bridges, and new pedestrian crossings will be developed.
Four million euro has been allocated to the Bilberry to City Centre Active Travel Route.
That's the project receiving the highest amount in Waterford.
Others include the Tramore Waterford Greenway, the Newtown Active Travel Scheme, the Tournore Permeability Scheme, and the Carrick Road, Portlaw.
