Dublin star Michael Darragh Macauley has announced his retirement from inter-county football.
Macauley won eight All-Ireland titles and he was named Footballer of the Year in 2013.
The Ballyboden St Enda's clubman also won 10 Leinster titles and five National Leagues. He was also part of the Ballyboden team that won the 2016 All-Ireland SFC club title.
The 34-year-old made the announcement with a brief tweet that read: “Sin é uaimse. Míle buíochas ó chroí.”
