A driver was discovered travelling at 154km per hour on a Waterford road recently.
Gardai in Waterford found the occupant travelling at the high speed on a road with a 100km per hour limit.
They were subsequently pulled over and issued with a fixed charge penalty notice.

Gardaí attached to the Roads Policing Unit in Waterford recently detected this car driving at a speed of 154kph in a 100kph zone. The Driver was stopped and a Fixed Charge Notice was issued to the driver.

It is not believed at this time that there are any arrests or court proceedings set to follow.
