The day and week got even better for Henry De Bromhead when 17/2 shot Put The Kettle On ran the race of her life to capture the Grade 1 Champion Chase at Cheltenham this afternoon.

COMMENTARY:

Trainer Henry de Bromhead has saddled the winner of the big race at the Cheltenham Festival for the second day running.
After Honeysuckle landed the Champion Hurdle yesterday another mare, Put the Kettle On, landed the Queen Mother Champion Chase, beating Nube Negra and the odds on favourite Chacun pour Soi in a thrilling finish.

The Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle - was won by 33-1 shot Heaven Help Us for trainer Paul Hennessy and jockey Richie Condon.
Tiger Roll won the Glenfarclas Chase for Denise Foster and Keith Donoghue.
The Willie Mullins-trained Monkfish - with Paul Townend in the saddle - was first home in the Novices' Chase.
Before that in the opening race of the day, Rachael Blackmore was aboard to steer Henry De Bromhead-trained Bob Olinger to victory in the Ballymore Novices Hurdle.
