A man in his 30s has been arrested and will appear before the courts following a public order incident in Cork City on Saturday night.
The incident occurred at a hotel on McCurtain Street at approximately 10pm and footage has been circulated widely on social media - amassing 290,000 views.
In a statement to WLR, Gardai said: "Gardaí attended the scene of a public order incident that occurred on McCurtain Street, Cork City, on Saturday 11th January 2025 at approximately 10pm. A man aged in his 30s was arrested in connection with the incident. He has since been charged, and is expected to go before the courts at a later date."
