Emerald Tower Limited has lodged a planning application with Waterford Council in relation to a proposal for a development at Clonea, Dungarvan.
The company is seeking a Section 254 Licence required for the installation of an 18m dual operator pole, associated equipment, together with ground based equipment cabinets and all associated site development works for wireless data and broadband services.
The development is located at Clonea Road, Skehacrine (Humble), Dungarvan.
WLR News understands that many residents in the local area have expressed concern over the proposal for the erection of the pole, including the possible impact on the surrounding area.
A decision on the application is due on September 14th, with submissions from the public accepted until August 24th.
