Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber has won the Chamber of the Year Award.
The awards, hosted by Chambers Ireland and sponsored by Zurich, recognise the work of chambers of commerce throughout the country in supporting local, regional, and national business.
Overall, Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber took home three awards. CEO Jenny Beresford says that they're delighted with the recognition.
"We are stunned and thrilled and proud and honoured", she said. "It's just the best news. It's always fantastic to be acknowledged for your work but to have that a national event by your peers gives an outstanding sense of happiness and achievement - and pride for our membership and stakeholders."
Meanwhile, Waterford Chamber won in the Local Authority Collaboration category.
"We were a little bit afraid that it would turn out like The Banshees of Inisherin in that we were nominated for so many categories, but we then picked up an award and we're delighted."
