A number of lay-offs have been confirmed at a Waterford factory.
Cartamundi, which produces board games amongst other items at its Cork Road facility, has confirmed to WLR News that there will be a number of temporary lay-offs there.
Cartamundi has confirmed that there will be a number of temporary lay offs at the Waterford plant in the coming weeks as a result of reducing production.
A spokesperson says the nature of the business means it can be seasonal and is kept under constant review.
The company is responding to the current level of customer demand but, they added, they remain confident in the future.
The company hasn't confirmed exactly how many staff will be laid off.
