Cappoquin playground damage will cost €25-50k to repair

A young man has been arrested following investigations into criminal damage at Cappoquin Playground.

Waterford Council have outlined that recent vandalism resulted in one piece of equipment being removed.

There is currently no budget to replace this equipment.

They will now be applying for funding to replace the equipment which is valued in the region of €25,000 to €50,000.

Dungarvan Gardaí say a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
