A man has been arrested as over €50,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in Waterford City.
A number of locations were searched under warrant on Tuesday last, August 9th and the drugs - along with €3,000 in cash were discovered.
A man was arrested as a result and taken to Waterford Garda Station, where he was charged.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)
